The shallow cylindrical shape of the 2534D MARKUS Electron Beam Chamber reduces uncertainties due to energy loss and scattering in dosimetric measurements, whilst the small volume (0.055 cm3) minimizes the uncertainty in dose distribution measurements due to non-uniformity of the beam. The NE2534D is supplied with 1 m cable, perspex phantom plates, waterproof cover and source adaptor.
For extra holding devices, reference source and calibration certificate specify 2534C.
The 2534 constitutes a reference ion chamber when used with 2670 Farmer or 2570 Farmer electrometers.
