The GFS97 module consists of a pre-aligned combination of the GF95 Graphite Furnace and the FS95 Furnace Autosampler for use with the S Series systems. By using this pre-aligned module, a number of actions concerned with aligning the autosampler probe with the furnace head are rendered unnecessary.
The GF95 Graphite Furnace ensures outstanding detection power with minimal interference effects. Dynamic, optical cuvette temperature control, pre-heated cuvette injection and coolant water temperature compensation help achieve perfect analyses. Extended Lifetime Cuvettes (ELC) provide uninterrupted overnight analysis and lower cost of ownership.
Standard on all S Series systems, QuadLine - our high speed, high energy deuterium source correction - offers maximum furnace sensitivity and the widest furnace dynamic working range. It guarantees correction up to 2A of background, with <2% residual error for even the fastest transient signals.
The FS95 Furnace Autosampler does a lot more than just introduce samples into the graphite furnace atomizers. It's a complete, fully automated sample preparation system that can also prepare calibration standards, add matrix modifiers, dilute samples before analysis, pre-concentrate samples, calibrate by the method of standard additions, perform automated Ash-Atomize experiments and spike recoveries. The FS95 also reduces analysis errors by carrying out "intelligent" dilution of over-range samples during an analysis.
The standard unit accomodates up to 60 samples but, should additional capacity be required, two carousels may be used in sequence giving a total of 120 samples per analysis.
