The AOX batch method is based on the adsorptionb of organic halogens onto the activated carbon. Three independant filtration units equipped with the patented Quartz frit filter are used to separate the water from the activated carbon. After the pre-treatment the quartz frit can be transferred to the Thermo Scientific AOX analyzer (see related products).
