| The instrumentation offers the ability to measure both the temperature of the cell block and the temperature of the solution inside the cell block. In these experiments, the temperature of the solution is measured directly with a temperature probe, allowing the exact temperature of the solution to be known at each absorption reading. This note also explains the advantages of using semimicro cells for DNA analysis.
