App. note 397: Determination of Sulfonamide Antibiotics inWastewater by Liquid Chromatography– Tandem Mass Spectrometry
The goal of this application note is to develop methods for the determination of sulfonamide antibiotics at trace levels in effluent wastewaters.
The method was applied to the wastewater samples to investigate
the occurrence of sulfonamide antibiotics. Sulfamethoxazole was detected in all
of the samples.
