| The sample is dissolved in nitric and hydrofluoric acid. Excess fluoride ion is complexed to fluoroborate, and antimony is measured by flame atomic absorption spectrometry with an air acetylene flame. Up to 0.4% m/m of antimony can be measured as described; higher levels can be measured after dilution.
