| The concentration of nitrate was determined by a technique called KAP Analysis. Aliquots of a sodium nitrate standard are added automatically to a sample in water containing an Orion nitrate electrode. The Orion 960 Autochemistry System calculated the electrode slope, the sample concentration and verifies the results through a spike recovery test. |
