| In other cases, it’s important to know if such a stream threatens the functioning of the treatment plant. For decades the well-known Kjehldahl method has been all over the world. This method has major disadvantages, such as the long analysis time and the costs of chemicals, which are hazardous to the environment. By measuring total nitrogen by chemiluminescence (this is Kjehldahl nitrogen plus nitrate and nitrite) a fast and clean alternative is given. |
