| This study utilizes the LTQ mass spectrometer with MALDI source to develop a methodology for the routine, unambiguous identification and localization of 3-nitrotyrosine or S-nitrosocysteine residues in peptides and proteins oxidized in vitro by TNM (tetranitromethane) or SIN-1 (3-morpholinosydnonimine).
