| Conclusions FAIMS successfully prevented the ketamine co-med interference from adversely affecting the accuracy and precision of the bioanalytical method. This technology is simple to optimize and the analysis yielded increased signal by 4.5 times and the signal to noise ratio increased by 2000 fold relative to data acquired without FAIMS. Additionally, FAIMS reduced chemical background. This is a robust technique requiring little intervention as demonstrated in this GLP validated assay.
