| The concentration of the inorganic sulfates in ethanol is determined using the first derivative titration technique on ORION 950 (or 960) Titrator with lead nitrate as a titrant. Lead sulfate precipitate is formed during the titration. The end point is measured by Orion Lead electrode. An aliquot of aqueous sulfate standard is added to all ethanolic samples, so that there is a measurable endpoint. (Find additional information in App log # 699D). |
