| A GC/MS method for the confirmation and quantitation of amphetamine (AM) and methamphetamine (MA) in urine was developed and fully validated. The validation was performed using extracted, derivatized urine samples, and included precision, specificity/interference, linearity and carryover. This technical note provides comprehensive coverage of methods and validation results. The DSQTM II GC/MS system provides excellent linearity and precision, and the final method offers a robust, reliable approach to the routine confirmation of AM and MA in urine. ToxLabTM 2.0 software provides automated sample acquisition and processing.
