The chemistries uploaded are shown on the Latest Software Revision List 

This program needs to be unzipped prior to uploading.  If you do not have the unzip program, go to www.winzip.com.

Upload Instructions:

You will need a RS232 cable, Thermo Orion No AQ4CBL.  A serial adapter may be required (a 25 pin to 9 pin adapter is included with AQ4CBL)

Warning: This upload procedure will overwrite all existing methods. User methods (190 to 199) will NOT be overwritten.

Bootload Instructions:

1. Download AQ4000 Chemistry Methods r13 bootload program to a known location on your computer.
2. Unzip the contents of the downloaded file which should give you the executable file AQ4K_R13.EXE.
3. In your windows session CLOSE ALL running programs, before executing this bootload program.
4. Setup your meter for method upload by following the meter instructions below, before running the bootload program.

Meter Instructions:

1. With the AQ4000 meter power off, insert the appropriate end of the RS232 cable to the meter and the other end onto your computer.
2. Press the <power> key to turn the meter on.
3. Then press the <setup> key.
4. Press the <up> or <down> scrolling keys until "UPLOAD" is displayed.
5. Press the <yes> key to accept.
6. Meter display should read "WAITING" indicating meter is ready for upload.
7. Now follow the computer instruction below to execute the bootload program.

Computer Instructions:

1. CLOSE ALL running programs in your current windows session (Close as many visible programs as you can. There is nothing you can do about programs running in your windows background)
2. Now double click the file you unzipped AQ4K_R13.EXE to execute it.
3. A black DOS window will appear before you.
4. Now hold down the Alt key on your keyboard followed by pressing the Enter key. This will make the DOS window full screen.
5. Now follow the instructions displayed by the bootload program.
6. When you get to the COM port selection screen, you now have the option to select a COM port from 1 to 9. Simply type the COM port number when asked.
7. Once the upload process starts, DO NOT disturb your setup until complete.
8. When upload is complete, meter display window should indicate "ALL DONE" and the new revision of the software.
9. To EXIT the bootload program, follow the instructions once it completes upload.
