In-situ Hybridization, Sequencing, Fragment-Analysis, Real-time PCR, Fluorescence-Assays, Chemiluminescence-Assays, Microscopy, Antisense-Experiments.
Furthermore, some modified oligonucleotides can be immobilised on solid surfaces. The affinity between their attached functional group and the corresponding chemical group bound to the solid surface effects immobilisation and enables detection at a defined area (spot). (i.e. Microarrays, Chemiluminescence-Assays, Fluorescence-Assays).
