Field Service brings highly skilled, Thermo Scientific trained and certified engineers to your facility on a fee-for-service basis. This is an ideal choice if you anticipate infrequent service needs or have access to in-house technical resources to support the product.
Per-visit costs
Customers are charged a per-visit cost which includes travel (time, air-fare, meals, lodging and car rental), on-site labor (by the hour), and the cost of replacement parts not covered under an existing warranty.
Fast Response Time
Every effort will be made to have a service engineer on-site quickly, but turnaround may vary according to your location and current service demands. For guaranteed response times to support critical applications, consider a "Field Service Contract."
Parts and labor warranties on field service
Labor is warrantied for 90 days following completion of the repair. Parts warranty may vary by instrument and part. Consumable parts may have a different warranty period.
Engineer health and safety
It is the responsibility of the customer to alert the Thermo Scientific field service representative of any risks relating to exposure to potentially harmful elements or conditions upon his arrival, before the service begins. Further, it is the customer's responsibility to purge the system of any sample residue of a hazardous nature prior to service.
