| The DIGILAB converter is for converting files collected on any of the Digilab 3200 based spectrometers. This includes the FTS 7, 25, 40, 60, and 80 series spectrometers. The default file extension is .DT. Files no longer have to be stored in low to high order for version of the converter dated 4/12/93 or later. For versions of the converter dated earlier than 4/12/93, exported files must have X axis Wavenumbers in low to high order.
Data files must be moved from the 3200 to the PC before file conversion. This can be accomplished through the use of an RS-232 cable and communications software. Digilab offers a version of the KERMIT transfer protocol for the 3200. Use a communications software package to receive the data on the PC. Digilab also offers an application program, called AP9, which allows the 3200 to write data directly onto DOS formatted disks. Contact Digilab for more information on these utilities. | |
