This converter imports Asyst *.DAT files. The first sub-file holds Y points. An optional second sub-file may contain the first and last X values (or all X values, although only the first and last values are used). If Import is given a two dimensional first sub-file, it produces sequentially numbered traces, one for each row. For example: NAME, NAME1, NAME2 or S1, S2, S3, S4, etc. A single dimension imports as a single trace. Import supports all data types, but "real" is normally best.
Export always produces two subfiles. The first has the Y points as one-dimensional real values. The second has two real values giving the frequency of the first and last trace points. | |
