Works with AVIV Grating IR spectrometer *.AVV data files. The AVIV interface supports the older Cary 14 UV-VIS instruments. Only the first and last X values are used so that Y values are assumed to be equally spaced on the X axis.
WARNING: If your serial plotter does not work properly from GRAMS with the AVIV interface, then remove the EXCOM.COM file from your AUTOEXEC.BAT or simply rename the EXCOM.COM to EXCOM.BAK. This file is only required for remote control of the AVIV interface.
Rename the data files to have this extension so that the files will appear on the menu when selecting Import/Export from the File menu, or change the file type to All (*.*) and select the desired AVIV files from the list. Alternatively, type in the full filename at the prompt.
This software supports export to the SPC Format. For more information, please refer to the software documentation or contact the instrument manufacturer. |
