Algorithms

Calculates a point difference 1^st derivative by taking the difference in the Y values between adjacent points. The X axis spacing between points is ignored. The calculation is performed with the data in low to high X order. If the input trace goes from low to high, it is reversed for the calculation and then re-reversed afterwards.
