Instrument Control Enhancements

Surveyor Plus Support
Atlas now supports both the Thermo Scientific Surveyor and the Surveyor Plus instruments. A variety of enhancements have been made to Atlas to support the Surveyor Plus. The UI elements are very similar for the Surveyor Plus and the Surveyor.

Hewlett Packard 5890 Dual Injection Control and Dual Digital Signal Acquisition
To increase sample throughput in process laboratories and remove the requirement for additional A2D devices, Atlas 8.1.1 point release includes the functionality to simultaneously control the HP7683 or the G2912A Injectors.

Full Range Acquisition of HP5890 Digital Signal
The HP5890 signal allows the option to acquire a ‘Full Scale’ digital signal for the RS232 control board (19254A).  In the Signals page of an Atlas Hewlett Packard 5890 defined DataServer workbook, there is the ‘Full Range’ option in the Range list of both signals.

Agilent 6850 LAN Support
This release also includes the Agilent 6850 LAN communication protocol, providing networked instrument control. The Analytical Control PCM inlet now includes control of the temperature program and air cooling.
