Agilent 7890 v1.0 highlights
The Atlas Agilent 7890 v1.0 is the first release of the Agilent 7890 GC control. The Agilent 7890 GC instrument although similar in appearance to the 6890N predecessor, has been redesigned. This has lead to a phased introduction of the instrument control in Atlas, release one providing basic operation. Future releases will include the less common modules and more in depth control.
The Agilent 7890 has been developed with the Atlas DDK (Device Development Kit) and so follows the user interface design followed by the Agilent 1200, Shimadzu VP and Perkin Elmer Series 200 instruments. The Agilent 7890 is a LAN based instrument and can be connected to the laboratory network or on a private instrument network utilizing the Thermo Scientific 247 Instrument Controller, to provide data integrity by network buffering.
