Pinpoint Software Compatibility and Prerequisites

Thermo Scientific Pinpoint software requires Thermo Scientific Xcalibur software version 2.06 or later.  Xcalibur™ 2.1 software is recommended.

Pinpoint software requires Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 to be installed prior to installation of the Pinpoint™ software.  Older versions of the .NET Framework cannot be used.

To determine if Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 is installed on your PC, go to the Control Panel and select Add or Remove Programs.  If the correct version of the .NET Framework is installed, it will appear in the list of currently installed programs.  Close the window but do not add or remove programs.

If you do not have it already, .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 can be downloaded free from Microsoft.  Follow Microsoft instructions for installing the .NET Framework.
