| QuickQuan-
High-throughput LC/MS for Discovery Quant. |
|
Agenda:
To eliminate drugs with unsuitable properties as early as
possible in the drug development process, pharmacokinetic (PK)
screening is getting more and more attention in early drug
discovery. Due to the large number of compounds and samples
that have to be analyzed at this stage, it becomes a necessity
to automate the optimization of the mass spectrometer and data
acquisition for each compound. This Webinar will focus on how
QuickQuan enables high-throughput discovery

Protein ID Searches with BioWorks™ 3.2 |
|
| SEQUEST®
allows the most sensitive searches of protein and peptide
data, delivering highly confident search results without
missing important proteins. BioWorks has been enhanced by a
probability-based scoring algorithm in addition to the
traditional SEQUEST scores. This rigorous score gives SEQUEST
users more confidence that SEQUEST will not miss any important
proteins and that the probability algorithm will provide an
objective likelihood of a hit. The peptide hits are... |

Application: Top-Down Analysis of Human Plasma
Proteome |
|
 |
Characterization
of the plasma proteome is a daunting analytical task due to
the large number of proteins thought to be present and the
extremely large dynamic range of their concentrations.
Historically, several different analytical approaches have
been incorporated to identify proteins belonging to the low
molecular weight (LMW) plasma proteome, including various
enrichment schemes and numerous bottom-up mass spectrometric
analyses. For bottom-up analysis, the protein is digested with
an enzyme to give a mixture of peptides which are identified
from database analysis of their CID fragmentation spectra to
lead to the identity of the source protein. By contrast,
top-down analysis enables... |
